The History of Passport Software, Inc.
Passport Software, Inc. (PSI) was founded in
1983 by three partners - John Miller, Bob Wall, and Muriel Spencer to
provide responsive, knowledgeable consultation services; and valuable,
reliable accounting and business solutions development. Since then, PSI
has operated with the prime mission of providing superior accounting and
business software solutions designed to meet the needs of our customers.
We have dedicated ourselves to creating and delivering proven, stable,
and affordable accounting software.
As one of the Realworld Corporation's
largest and oldest Value-Added-Distributors we continue the development,
distribution and support of the classic version of Realworld Corporation now called Passport Business Solutions. We are proud to maintain
and expand upon the tradition of a solid, reliable accounting software
system that provides great value. PSI leads the way with expertise and
our international network of PSI Partners, a group of accounting professionals
and systems integrators who assist you in assuring your company is more
productive and more profitable when implementing a Passport Business Solution.

specific & vertical systems with customizations covering a diverse array of customers. (PSI
continues to earn this recognition each year.)

PSI pioneers development of UNIX versions of RealWorld

1989: PSI releases Passport Point of Sale module (POS).

1990: PSI releases Ship-It! - UPS shipping interface.

1993: PSI releases BreakOut, our data-entry screen customization
utility, simplifying data entry.

1998: RW2000 ships, first Year 2000 compliant version
of RealWorld placed on the market.

1999: Passport becomes Navision Software Certified, delivering
a high-end accounting package for companies
who have outgrown their existing accounting
system.

2000: RW32 ships, first 32-bit version of RealWorld
software for Windows, also available for UNIX.

2001: Passport PowerTools ships, an object-oriented toolset
for RW32 rapid application development.

2001: PSI releases LINUX versions of RW32

2001: Passport releases PowerTools® based SalesAdvantage
and ServiceAdvantage, industry specific offerings.

2002: Passport certified as Microsoft Business Solution Provider
for Navision.

releases Passport Business Solutions Version 11, a graphical,
mouse-driven version built upon the tradition of rock-solid RealWorld software.

Practice with Real Solutions of Illinois, Inc.
