Passport Business Solutions Version 11.6 PUP Manufacturing Configuration |

These configuration issues apply if you upgraded from Version 11.5 (or earlier version) to Version 11.6. Version 11.6 menu changes and additions There are no new menu changes for PBS Manufacturing. Data File Rename Rename the BILLCK data file to BIMPST for every PBS company where the manufacturing system is installed. Both the .DAT and .vix extensions will need to be renamed. You may do this using Windows Explore or through a DOS command prompt. This is an example using a command prompt for company 00: Open a command prompt and change directory to the MF00 directory. Type the following: rename BILLCK00.??? BIMPST00.??? This will rename both the .DAT and .vix extension files for company 00 only. You will have to do the same for all companies where manufacturing is installed. Replace the "00" in the file name with the appropriate company number. Using Pathfinder remove the entry of BILLCK for each company installed. |
